Since the tender age of eight, dance became my refuge, a sanctuary where I could unravel the depths of my being with every choreographed step. It all began with ballet, an enchanting introduction that laid the foundation for what would become an integral part of my identity. However, as the music evolved, so did I, gradually transitioning into the realms of contemporary and freestyle dancing.
In the challenging landscape that children facing adversity navigate, articulating their emotions can be hindered by
formidable barriers such as anxiety, fear, and language constraints.
These constraints become even more pronounced for those emerging from unfortunate backgrounds, perpetuating a cycle of silent suffering. Personally acquainted with fear during my own childhood, I intimately understand the profound impact of these hurdles.
Recognizing the transformative potential within the universal language of dance, has been a revelation born out of my own journey. As I discovered solace and self-expression through dance, it became abundantly clear that this art form possesses a unique ability to dismantle the walls erected by anxiety and fear, transcending language barriers that often imprison the voices of those in need.

I love doing my favorite dance steps to my favorite songs, it instantly makes me happy. My friends also motivate me to dance.
Attending this class is an instant mood-burster for me, seeing all my friends dancing, I feel confident and like myself almost immediately.
No one around me is judging me because everyone is just in their own zone. That makes me feel confident and comfortable while motivating me to put in more energy.
This is the favorite part of my day and I look forward to it as I can forget about any work or worries and just dance. Also, because of this class, I have made 4 very close friends.
It feels good to dance with all my energy, I sweat a lot and it is always worth it at the end of the class.
“Ek Zindagi” was my all-time favorite song. I can relate to the song very personally and so while dancing to that song and completing the choreography, I felt very satisfied and happy.
Although I like to be quiet, dancing can be loud for me as I stretch my hands and legs wide, jump very high, and be full of expressions without the fear of coming out as bold. I love that feeling.
There are no restrictions! I just love how free it makes me feel. I love learning new steps while also giving tips to improve choreography.

I feel happy that I am training because I can be loud and happy without anyone stopping me. I feel like I can yell my lungs out in the studio and I won’t be punished for it.
